I ve returned gifts for something the right size. Or Something I like ( cash). I have never given it away to someone else rotflmao! Yeah, I think that one I would consider a little on the ungrateful side lol. But if your friend was okay with it. No one's feelings were hurt.

I wouldnt worry about it lol Maybe I m just jealous I didnt think of it first???? No.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If I already have it, or don't want it, I gracioulsy accept it, then after that point, it is mine and I can do whatever I want with it, that is the point of a gift. Nobody should get upset about what is done with a gift after it was given as it isn't yours anymore.

Nothing worng with that. It's all good. Give it to someone else who'll love it.

I'll usually take it back for something I really want.

When I gave it to the friend, it wasn't as a gift- I let them know someone gave me the dvd and I had no need for it-

I wasn't trying to pass it off as if I bought them somthing
I guess more so just trying not to let it go to waste- it was still wrapped, and with all the holiday traffic/shoppers the thought of standing in line to return the movie, for a credit to stand in another line - was wasteful to me-

But, I have since asked a few other people, coworkers etc and some peopel ake the item, wrap it and give it as a gift- I guess thats another avenue you could take.

I don't think I could take credit for something like that, but the main thing is giving something to someone so either way, if the person enjoys it- I suppose it doesn't matter in the long run.

Same as dvds I recieve as extras or "gifts" if its not of use, I get it to someone who can or will use it. Same as anything around the house I have.

I regift qyuite frequently. If I get simething I don't like or already have I would rather give to someone, and let them enjoy it. I see nothing rude abouy it inless you regift it back to the personthat gave it to you lol
