Default tex avery 5 dvd set? scam?

i don't think this is legit?
perhaps you know otherwise?

checkup item 350151264622 on ebay.

apparently its all of tex's work at mgm.
98 shorts on just 5 dvds!
must be a scam.

already $100+.
doesn't the buyer know what she/he is getting?

Muppet Danny has a set of 4 discs of WB, and 4 discs of MGM

I also have from earlier creation, taken from retail vhs and laser discs- a 5 dvd set- with the following

If this seller has the same, Its a trader who made the set- but the quality is excellent.

This is the 5 disc set I have- don't forget, some are like 2 minutes long- but it isn't 98 episodes.

hey SA, i too have the laserdiscs cartoons. 67 in total i think.

i collaborated with a very generous person on this forum (no names but has initials MM!) to do a dump from laserdisc to dvds.

then i authored these onto 8 or so dvds.
all were captured in XP mode, hence the extra dvds.

i'll list the episodes when i get the time to peruse the dvds.

i raised this topic just to see whether anyone knew of this set.

i googled for it and looked up amazon but could not find any mention of a tex avery set like that one. closest is the french dvd set.

anyway, it has reached an out of reach price as far as i'm concerned. boo.

Would this be the "Compleat Tex Avery" LD set? I might have a LD set in my hands soon... But first I have to finish Betty Boop.
